Dr. Paul Chandanabhumma, PhD, MPH, is an Assistant Professor of Family Medicine at the University of Michigan and a faculty member of the Michigan Mixed Methods Program. His work applies justice oriented and community engaged approaches to advance health equity, with expertise in participatory research, mixed methods, and addressing health disparities. His research spans community partnerships, decolonizing health promotion, and improving healthcare engagement for marginalized populations. Dr. Chandanabhumma’s scholarship aims to strengthen organizations’ capacity for patient centered research and promote equitable, evidence driven practices in substance use disorder treatment.
