Dr. Steven Klein is a physician-scientist advancing addiction medicine through cutting-edge research and biologically informed therapies. He earned his MD and PhD in Human Genetics at UCLA and completed residency and fellowship training at CHOP. His research investigates methylation and stress responses in substance use disorders to develop innovative interventions. At Caron, he integrates GLP-1 receptor agonists into treatment strategies. Triple board-certified/eligible, Dr. Klein has received honors including the David Smith Award for Research Excellence and Denis Weatherstone Fellowship. His peer-reviewed publications and national presentations reflect a mission to transform addiction care through science-driven solutions.
