Greg Williams is the President of Third Horizon, a specialized advisory firm focused on the intersection of mental health, addiction, data analytics, and health system transformation. Through his work, Greg helps health care organizations, nonprofits, and government agencies improve access to care, advance value-based models, and use data to drive better outcomes. Greg leads significant bodies of work that leverage health care data and price transparency initiatives to help organizations better understand cost, utilization, and the real economics of care delivery.

Greg previously served as Managing Editor of the Addiction Recovery Medical Home Alternative Payment Model, a framework designed to support innovative payment and care delivery approaches for substance use disorder treatment. With more than a decade of experience working with nonprofits, health systems, and public agencies on addiction and behavioral health policy, Greg has dedicated his career to expanding access to quality treatment and recovery supports. As a person in long-term recovery from addiction himself, Greg brings both professional expertise and lived experience to his work, which is focused on improving care and outcomes for the more than 40 million Americans living with substance use disorders.
